Due to the rising costs of homes in our area and significant lack of inventory, we have more applicants than homes available. Unfortunately, buying a home through KulshanCLT is not a quick fix for permanent housing. Most households wait on our Interest List at least two years before purchasing. If you have an immediate need for housing, please contact the Opportunity Council at 360-734-5121.

In 2025, we introduced a new application process that is more efficient for both homebuyers and KulshanCLT staff. If you applied to our program before mid-2025, your application will remain in our applicant pool and you will maintain your priority on our new Interest List based on the date you submitted your application. KulshanCLT generally serves applicants on a first-come, first-served basis. For a household interested in buying a home with us, the first step to enter our Interest List is to submit an Interest Form with self-reported household size, income, debt and asset information. The date on which you submit your interest form marks your priority on our Interest List.
