Homebuyer Information Session
Join us for a deep dive into the ins and outs of Community Land Trust (CLT) homeownership.
These information sessions are designed specifically with future KulshanCLT homebuyers in mind. Attendance at an Information Session will be required for all applicants going through the KulshanCLT homebuying process. Now is a great time to fulfill this requirement!
Over 1.5 hours, we will cover:
The ins and outs of Community Land Trust homeownership: What makes our model different from conventional homeownership? How does it compare to renting? What do you need to know before becoming a CLT homeowner?
How equity-building works: CLT homeowners practice a pay-it-forward model of housing affordability. But what does this mean for you and your ability to build home equity, exactly? We'll look at specific examples and break down how CLT home values appreciate over time. Plus: What to expect if you decide to resell your CLT home in the future.
Eligibility requirements and the application process: Staff will walk through everything you need to know about program eligibility, upcoming homes, and how to navigate the homebuying process.
