    KEYNOTE Speaker Damani Johnson – Vernon Damani Johnson has been a political activist for his entire adult like. In addition to being a faculty member in the Political Science Department at WWU since 1986, he has helped guide many local and regional social justice organizations, including Washington State Rainbow Coalition, the Whatcom Human Rights Task Force and the Northwest Coalition for Human Dignity.

  • Telegraph Road Townhomes

    We’re excited to announce the “next big thing” for Kulshan CLT! We will be working in partnership with Habitat for Humanity on our biggest joint effort to date. In the Spring 2017 Habitat will break ground on a 24 home development  – to be built over the next 5 years.

    Buyers for these homes will need to meet income guidelines for Habitat for Humanity’s program or Kulshan CLT’s program.

    • Homes will sell for $100,000-$150,000
    • 2 & 3 bedroom homes
    • Built to Passive House expectations but customized for long-term maintenance affordability
    • Community Garden to promote healthy foods and neighborhood
    • Future connection to Bellingham Park’s Trail system to promote physical activity and healthy families
    • This location offers great access to services and transportation.
  • Hops for Homes

    We’re partnering with local breweries this year to raise funds to continue growing a community everyone can afford. Participating breweries will donate a portion of alcohol sales to Kulshan CLT.
