How to buy a home with KulshanCLT
Kulshan Community Land Trust's HomeOwnership Opportunities Program (HOOP) partners with households of modest means to purchase new and existing homes by using the community land trust strategy. Using the CLT strategy, homeowners build home equity over time while keeping the home affordable for future income-eligible homebuyers.
Applicants may choose four paths to affordable homeownership:
- HomeBuyer Driven Homes - Purchase a home on the open market.
- Affordable Condominiums - Purchase a newer, well-located condominium.
- New Homes - Purchase a home in one of our new developments.
- KulshanCLT Resales - Purchase an existing KulshanCLT home from a current homeowner.
